ABOUT ME
I'm currently pursuing a MS degree in the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa with support from the East-West Center Graduate Degree Fellowship. I hold a BA degree in Earth and Oceanographic Science and Environmental Studies with a minor in Chinese from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. I recently worked in conservation science and communications for the Coral Triangle Center, a non-profit organization in Bali, Indonesia, that focuses on marine biodiversity conservation and the sustainable management of marine resources throughout the Coral Triangle region. I'm interested in developing sustainable, culturally-sensitive reef management strategies that improve environmental and social resiliency for vulnerable island nations.
